The ideal candidate will be responsible for building scalable, high-performance Android applications while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including product, design, and backend engineering. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain native Android applications. Implement new features ensuring high quality, performance, and maintainability. Apply MVVM architecture patterns in production environments. Work extensively with Jetpack components. Participate in technical discussions, architectural decisions, and code reviews. Ensure code quality through testing, debugging, and continuous improvement practices. Collaborate effectively in an international, English-speaking environment. Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in Android development. Strong hands-on experience with Java and Kotlin. Proven experience working with Jetpack libraries and components. Solid experience implementing MVVM architecture. English proficiency at C1 level or higher. Availability to work in a hybrid model based in Bogotá, Colombia. Nice to Have Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Knowledge of Clean Architecture principles. Experience integrating RESTful APIs. Familiarity with testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
