Responsibilities Work is accomplished autonomously on small projects or portions of larger projects supported by EC within established procedures and practices related to ground and geotechnical engineering. Gathers and correlates basic engineering data using established and well-defined procedures in ground engineering. Provides guidance to entry level engineers and technicians. Proposes an approach to solve new problems encountered. Performs specific and limited portions of a broader assignment of an experienced engineer. Works on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations and relatively simple tests in geotechnical engineering. Identifies discrepancies in lab and modelling results in geotechnical engineering. Prepare and manage technical specification sections related to designs, ensuring they meet project requirements with emphasis on geotechnical projects. Working on international projects related to geotechnical engineering and collaborating in multidisciplinary initiatives as part of the Enterprise Capabilities’ family. Proven commitment to Quality Control Policy and Quality Management System. Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule with moderate supervision. Qualifications Minimum Requirements Bachelor in Civil Engineering or Engineering Geology from a recognized University. At least 4 years of specific experience in ground engineering. At least 2 years of proven track record in the use of specific ground engineering software such as Geoestudio, Plaxis, or Rocscience. Experience in the design of foundations, slope stability, and retaining walls. Communicative level of English (oral and written). Preferred Qualifications Advanced level in CAD software (preferable AutoCAD and/or MicroStation). Master or postgraduate degree in Geotechnical Engineering. Experience with international regulations and standards (AASTHO; Eurocodes; British Standards, etc.). Experience working with Common Data Environment platforms (e.g., BIM 360, ACC).
