Job Description EF Language Abroad is looking for a strategic, entrepreneurial, and sales-driven Sales Coordinator to take the program to the next level in Medellín. You will promote and sell our language courses abroad, establishing and maintaining relationships with potential clients, guiding them through the sales process, and ensuring their satisfaction. Your Main Responsibilities Are Sales Generation: Actively identify and pursue sales opportunities by contacting potential clients interested in language courses abroad. Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide suitable solutions. Consultative Selling: Engage prospective clients with personalized advice and recommendations matching their language learning goals. Product Knowledge: Acquire in-depth knowledge of our language courses, destinations, and associated services, staying up to date with industry trends and competitors. Customer Service: Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing support as required. International Collaboration: Collaborate with colleagues from various countries and cultural backgrounds to exchange best practices and deliver a consistent global experience. Goal Achievement: Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs, consistently striving for success in a fast‑paced environment. Lead Generation: Participate in events that build brand awareness and increase customer interest (stands, fairs, presentations at schools and universities). Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Relations, Marketing, Tourism or related fields. Sales Experience: Prior experience in a sales role, preferably in a fast‑paced environment; experience in the education/travel industry or selling intangible products/services is an advantage. Sales Drive and Ambition: Strong motivation to achieve sales targets and exceed customer expectations. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written skills in Spanish and English; additional language proficiency is a plus. International Experience: Having lived, worked, or studied abroad is preferred. Customer‑Oriented: Passion for delivering outstanding customer service and building long‑term relationships. Adaptability, Resilience and Flexibility: Thrive in a dynamic environment, work under pressure, occasionally shift work on weekends, and remain flexible with customers. Team Player: Collaborate effectively with colleagues from diverse backgrounds, demonstrating cultural sensitivity. Tech‑Savvy: Proficient in using sales and CRM tools to manage leads, track progress, and monitor KPIs. Success Metrics Success in this role is defined by reaching weekly and monthly sales targets and other predefined KPIs related to calls, visits, effective online meetings, and more.
