Job Summary As a Server Admin Migration Engineer, you will be a key member of the Mergers & Acquisitions Technology team, taking ownership of complex data migration projects from end to end. You will work across the full lifecycle— from due diligence and discovery through to execution and post‑migration support—ensuring seamless and successful outcomes. Responsibilities Lead and execute complex end‑to‑end data migration projects, including planning, discovery, execution, and post‑migration support, ensuring accuracy and minimal disruption to operations Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot Robocopy and PowerShell scripts to automate and optimize data migration processes across file servers and cloud environments Administer and support Windows environments, including Active Directory, Group Policy, NTFS permissions, and Azure AD/Entra ID, across both on‑premise and cloud infrastructure Collaborate with project managers, technical subject matter experts, and non‑technical stakeholders to provide clear updates, technical overviews, and guidance throughout migration projects Provide technical solutions and BAU support across production and test environments, including troubleshooting user access issues and working with third‑party and managed service providers as needed Qualifications Approximately 4 years of experience in systems administration and data migration, with a strong, proactive mindset Hands‑on experience with data migration tools and technologies such as Robocopy, RClone, SFTP, and experience managing large unstructured datasets Strong knowledge of Windows environments, including Active Directory, Group Policy, NTFS, Windows share permissions, file server management, and Azure AD/Entra ID Proficiency in scripting, particularly PowerShell and batch files, with the ability to create, modify, and troubleshoot scripts for migration and automation tasks Familiarity with cloud and virtualization technologies, including Azure fundamentals and VMware, and experience with SaaS file‑sharing platforms such as Dropbox or ShareFile Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead technical meetings, produce clear documentation, and work effectively with both technical and non‑technical colleagues Benefits Free access to world‑class learning platforms, including Harvard Business Review, Coursera, Pluralsight, Udemy, Microsoft, AWS, and Google Digital campuses and academy with over 60,000 hours of training, covering GenAI, data, sustainability, and more Career acceleration programs from associate to leadership, such as the Connected Manager and leadership development program #J-18808-Ljbffr
