Consolidate financial information from various Business Units across the region to prepare periodic financial statements, including balances, income statements, and cash flows, in accordance with accounting standards and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). Responsibilities Gather financial data from Business Units within the HBE region to establish a comprehensive dataset, ensuring total integrity and precision. Perform rigorous validation checks on received financial data to reduce errors and non-compliance risks before consolidation. Utilize specialized tools to combine data from different Business Units, creating a unified financial outlook for regulatory compliance and decision‑making. Align the consolidation process with local and international financial reporting standards (SOX/GAAP) to minimize regulatory risks. Prepare consolidated financial reports based on validated data to provide stakeholders with reliable information for strategic planning. Conciliate consolidated financial statements with individual Business Unit reports to identify and correct discrepancies. Liaise with Business Units for data collection and clarifications, ensuring a more effective and complete consolidation process. Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and reporting requirements to maintain continuous compliance. Assist in internal audits of the consolidation process to identify improvement areas and ensure ongoing accuracy. Profile Bachelor's degree in accounting. 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a Record to Report (R2R) environment or financial reporting.
