Accountabilities Provide highly specialized technical leadership in the analysis, design, development, configuration and support of cost effective, online HR management and decision support systems, specifically in Role Based Permissions Management and Platform changes as identified by the Core HR Technology management team. Resolve complex business problems under tight deadlines and changing project requirements. Manage multiple small projects, participate in and/or manage sections of large projects, and provide ongoing support to all assigned units worldwide (utilizing Agile methodologies where applicable). Understand and apply knowledge of Service Level Agreements to define service expectations with customers. Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex business problems by analyzing business and user needs, documenting requirements, and translating them into systems requirement specifications. Attend intake meetings and coordinate changes with other Labs. As a People Manager, provide support to team members as defined by the HR practices at Scotiabank. Provide support on related APM and Playbook updates and ensure supporting documents comply with Scotiabank Corporate Policies. Provide support across all modules with a focus on Role Based Permissions and Platform features, ensuring processes are followed and appropriate approvals are received. As a key member of the Platform team, guide stakeholders, improve knowledge of RBP and other areas of the SuccessFactors Platform, within the business and GHRT, and contribute to process improvements. Independently resolve complex, multi-faceted problems to meet business needs by applying HR and technical knowledge to design methodologies, models, and/or systems solutions, including researching and analyzing, defining user requirements and processes, and liaising with users. Manage multiple small and medium HR technology projects and/or manage sections of large projects to implement technology solutions to HR business problems, including planning resources, developing detailed project plans, monitoring progress, and securing consensus from users and senior management. Participate in the systems implementation process by interpreting business requirements into technical specifications, performing testing, configuring HR vendor software, ensuring integration with related HR systems, developing test strategies and cases, providing user documentation and training, and offering post-implementation support. Participate in QA test strategy reviews and support QA testing by analyzing defects to clarify requirements, define defect severity, and negotiate resolutions with stakeholders. Continually acquire and enhance knowledge of HRIS, best practices, regulatory requirements, internal processes, and evolving technology to provide effective business solutions. Education / Experience / Other Information 5+ years of experience in SAP SuccessFactors Role Based Permissions and other Platform features. A recognized undergraduate degree in business, economics, mathematics, or a related discipline, with 4 to 6 years of practical experience. Extensive knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors Role Based Permission and related Platform features. Fluent English communication skills.
