Business SegmentOverview- Commercial : With boots on the ground authenticity at the heart of everything we do, our comprehensive array of commercial products and services enable you to work directly with our clients, across hedging, risk management, execution and clearing, OTC products, commodity finance and more. Position Purpose: Coordinate with Front Office, Clients, and Vendors to execute purchase and sales transactions. Responsibilities Manage end-to-end trade control activities, ensuring accurate documentation flow and secure transfer of title across domestic and international transactions. Oversee daily inventory management, including reconciliation of physical commodity movements and monthly adjustments. Review and process international trade documentation to ensure completeness for payments and commodity nationalization. Execute trade settlement processes, including creation of inventory, AP/AR entries, cost accruals, and application of title documents. Coordinate and ensure timely payment performance for import and export transactions, including bank document presentation. Generate and manage commercial invoices, payment requests, and pre-payment advances for suppliers and clients. Monitor and reconcile accounts payable and receivable balances, escalating discrepancies to management as needed. Serve as a key point of contact for customers, vendors, brokers, and logistics partners to resolve operational and payment issues. Maintain accurate records of reconciliations, transactions, and supporting documentation. Support contract management activities, including overfill/underfill adjustments and settlement tracking. Manage voyage-related activities, including laytime calculations, freight payments, and charter party compliance. Collaborate closely with shipbrokers, vessel agents, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth trade execution. Qualifications To land this role you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in International Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Economics or business-related field. 5+ years relevant experience working in international commodity trade or structured finance. English: B2+ or C1 Experience reviewing global trade contracts, ensuring contract payment performance for import/export transactions, creating and reviewing Trade related documentation, and presenting documentation to banks for payment. Knowledge and understanding of exchange traded commodities, preferably in Grains/Oilseeds or Coffee/Cocoa industries. Working environment: Base + health and life insurance (salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity and alignment with market data).
