Role Summary and Impact This is a highly strategic and hands‑on leadership role for a visionary Media Planning Director LATAM with a genuine passion for the tech industry. The Manager will oversee and orchestrate the entire media planning and activation operation for a key tech client across 14+ markets in LATAM. The primary impact lies in being an operational architect, standardising routines, processes and best practices across the region to ensure consistency and efficiency. The role requires developing and implementing cutting‑edge 360‑degree strategies (ATL, Digital, e‑commerce), building and maintaining strong relationships with senior client stakeholders, and leading, influencing and guiding large, dispersed regional teams. The focus is on solving complex problems with clear plans, driving significant account growth through operational excellence and strategic foresight, and shaping the future of regional media strategies by leveraging WPP's advanced tools and expertise. Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Advertising, Marketing, Communications or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications are a plus. Professional Experience 8+ years of progressive experience in media planning and buying with a significant focus on digital media. At least 3 years of proven leadership experience (e.g., Account Director, Group Media Director) directly managing client accounts and teams. Extensive experience leading multi‑market operations across LATAM. Proven strategic planning, budget management and complex media negotiation at a regional scale. Regional e‑commerce experience is a significant advantage. Track record of leading and developing large, multidisciplinary media teams across different geographical locations. Technical Skills & Knowledge Advanced proficiency in English (B2+ level). Deep understanding and hands‑on experience in developing and executing integrated 360‑degree media strategies (ATL & Digital) with a regional lens. In‑depth knowledge of the digital ecosystem: e‑commerce platforms, digital branding strategies, performance marketing (SEM, Social, Programmatic, etc.) and advanced performance metrics. Proficiency with media planning tools, analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, ad servers) and strong data interpretation skills; GA4 certification is an advantage.
