Role Description Experienced Infrastructure & Platform Services Delivery Engineer to provide the delivery, stability, and continuous improvement of enterprise infrastructure and platform services. This role is responsible for ensuring secure, resilient, and high-performing environments across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid platforms for Intel based Windows and Linux OS to include Active Directory. The successful candidate will combine strong technical and practical expertise with operational experience and with adherence to service management disciplines. Key Responsibilities Manage server lifecycle: procurement, provisioning, patching, decommissioning, and asset tracking. Implement and maintain server virtualization platforms (VMware ESXi, Microsoft Hyper‑V, or KVM) on Intel VT‑x/VT‑d enabled hardware. Monitor server health and performance Troubleshoot hardware and OS‑level issues across Windows Server and Linux Collaborate with network and storage teams to ensure end‑to‑end infrastructure performance. Implement and enforce security hardening standards, Maintain accurate documentation of server configurations, runbooks, and change records. Participate in on‑call rotation and respond to P1/P2 incidents as needed. Deploy, manage, and maintain Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) across the server infrastructure. Administer AD objects including users, computers, groups, and organizational units (OUs). Design and manage Group Policy Objects (GPOs) for security baselines, software deployment, and desktop/server configuration enforcement. Monitor and maintain AD replication health across domain controllers, sites, and site links. Manage DNS and DHCP services integrated with Active Directory. Implement and enforce Role‑Based Access Control (RBAC) and least‑privilege principles using AD security groups. Support identity lifecycle management including provisioning, de‑provisioning, and access reviews. Troubleshoot Kerberos authentication, LDAP connectivity, and trust relationship issues. Integrate server workloads with Azure Active Directory (Entra ID) in hybrid identity scenarios where applicable. Required Qualifications 3–6 years of hands‑on experience with Intel‑based platforms Experience with server operating systems: Windows Server 2019/2022 and/or Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu). Proficiency in BMC/IPMI‑based remote management and out‑of‑band server management tools. Familiarity with server virtualization (VMware vSphere, Hyper‑V, or KVM). Experience with storage technologies: RAID configurations, SAN/NAS connectivity, NVMe. Knowledge of networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, VLANs, bonding/teaming, and Ethernet/InfiniBand connectivity. Ability to read and interpret hardware specifications, datasheets, and technical documentation. Solid understanding of Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS), Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP. Experience managing domain controllers, AD sites and services, and replication topology. Familiarity with Kerberos, LDAP, and NTLM authentication protocols. Exposure to software‑defined infrastructure (SDI) or composable infrastructure platforms. Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation and monitoring.
