In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology. Responsibilities Develop Rich UI Applications: Developing rich UI applications based on Single Page Applications (SPA) or microfrontends using frameworks such as ReactJS or Angular. Design Scalable Microservices: Assisting in designing scalable and resilient backend microservices based on 12-factor principles, exposing functionality via API and event interfaces. Explore Cloud‑Native Services: Explore hyperscaler cloud services and frameworks, including AWS services such as EKS, ECS, Fargate, Lambda, and CloudFront. Learn Event‑Driven Architectures: Develop event‑driven applications using Kafka, Zookeeper, and AWS services such as SQS, SNS, and Kinesis Streams. Assist in CI/CD Pipelines: Assist in cloud‑native CI/CD for change release and learn Test‑Driven Development practices. Required Technical and Professional Expertise Exposure to Cloud‑Native Environments: Familiarity with modern cloud‑native environments, including microservices, API‑driven architectures, and continuous release cycles. Basic Understanding of Programming Languages: Knowledge of at least one programming language, such as Java, NodeJS, Python, or .Net, and familiarity with frameworks like Springboot. Interest in Frontend Development: Basic understanding of developing rich UI applications using Single Page Applications (SPA) or microfrontends with frameworks like ReactJS or Angular. Familiarity with Cloud Services: Exposure to hyperscaler cloud services and frameworks, including AWS services such as EKS, ECS, Fargate, Lambda, and CloudFront. Curiosity about Event‑Driven Architectures: Basic understanding of event‑driven applications using Kafka, Zookeeper, and AWS services such as SQS, SNS, and Kinesis Streams.
