What we’re looking for As our Business Process Analyst you will analyze and optimize reinsurance processes across the entire value chain, ensuring alignment, transparency, and efficiency across functions. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative, cross-functional environment and enjoys translating complex operational workflows into actionable improvements. Main responsibilities Map, document, and analyze reinsurance processes across the full value chain (Underwriting, Claims, Finance, Reserving, etc.) Identify process gaps, control weaknesses, and opportunities for improvement Facilitate workshops with cross-functional teams to define “as-is” and “to-be” workflows Support system integration and automation initiatives Monitor process performance and efficiency Contribute to the design and implementation of governance and documentation frameworks Organize and deliver training sessions for process and changes Essential qualifications, skills and experience Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, or related discipline 5-6 years’ experience in reinsurance or insurance operations, with exposure to all functions across the value chain Strong analytical and process modeling skills (BPMN, Visio, or similar) Understanding of insurance underwriting, accounting flows, and claims concepts Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills English (spoken and written) Proficiency in MS Office Desirable (Nice to have) Lean Six Sigma certification (Green/Black Belt) or equivalent Experience with VISIO tool and the SIPOC mapping Familiarity with regulatory standards Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Excel) Personal Attributes Process-oriented, structured, and analytical Strong facilitator who builds collaboration and drives results Curious mindset, proactive in identifying and solving root causes Our promise to you Competitive salary with performance-based incentives Opportunities for career growth and professional development Exposure to international markets and global clients A collaborative and dynamic work environment alongside industry experts Private medical insurance Group life insurance Hybrid working environment Who We Are Oceanre is a leading reinsurance provider, specializing in life, health, property & casualty, personal accident, cargo, surety, and motor insurance solutions.
