Nocturnist – Northwestern Alabama Employed practice seeks a BE/BC Internal Medicine physician to join them Competitive base salary to be discussed directly with employer (shift differential pay for nocturnist) Salary is $32o,000 plus WRVU and quality bonuses Doctors average around 5-8 admissions per shift 14 vacation days per year Area has a low cost of living 7on/7off Cerner EMR Mid-level and Nocturnal CRNP coverage, swing shift physician and CRNP take admissions till mid-night Open ICU with nocturnists being required to do intubations and central line placement. One nocturnist on each shift along with 2 NPs. Procedure support available in-house but they ask their doctors to do procedures in an emergency situation as needed Residents run codes Neuro stroke alerts run by Neurologist and Cardiac alerts run by Cardiologist Full benefits including, PTO, CME, malpractice, retirement and more!
