We are seeking a Senior Security Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in protecting the organization's systems, data, and infrastructure against evolving cyber threats. You will collaborate across multiple teams to strengthen the overall security posture while driving continuous improvements in processes, tools, and practices. Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures to safeguard IT systems and sensitive data Triage cybersecurity-related requests across various teams and manage security ingestion queues to ensure timely handling of issues Design, review, and audit automation scripts and tools using Python to streamline IAM processes and improve operational efficiency Define, manage, enforce, and review access permissions and entitlements based on least privilege and separation of duties principles Ensure ongoing compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards, and support both internal and external audit activities Monitor and analyze security metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions that enhance security posture and efficiency Collaborate closely with IT, DevOps, and other teams to embed security into development and deployment processes, and contribute to cross-functional projects aimed at strengthening overall security Requirements Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or another technical discipline At least 3 years of experience in cybersecurity operations or related roles Hands-on experience with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, DLP, and similar technologies Proven experience managing projects, designing process workflows, and updating policies, processes, and procedures Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to investigate issues and drive effective solutions Excellent communication, time management, and teamwork abilities to collaborate across diverse teams Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English at a B2+ level or higher Nice to have Industry-recognized security certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CISM, or equivalent credentials demonstrating advanced expertise in cybersecurity We offer International projects with top brands Work with global teams of highly skilled, diverse peers Employee financial programs Paid time off and sick leave Upskilling, reskilling and certification courses Unlimited access to the LinkedIn Learning library and 22,000+ courses Global career opportunities Volunteer and community involvement opportunities EPAM Employee Groups Award-winning culture recognized by Glassdoor, Newsweek and LinkedIn #J-18808-Ljbffr
