Commercial Manager – Traditional Channel Location: Bogotá D.C. or Villavicencio. Availability to travel according to business needs. About the role We are looking for a Commercial Manager – Traditional Channel to lead the commercial strategy for the traditional trade channel in AAK Colombia. This role is responsible for driving profitable growth, strengthening relationships with distributors, wholesalers, customers, and strategic partners, and ensuring the achievement of sales, coverage, expansion, and profitability objectives. Responsibilities Design and implement commercial strategies and action plans for the traditional trade channel. Define sales, coverage, market expansion, and growth objectives aligned with the company's commercial strategy. Drive profitable growth through the development of current customers, new customers, distributors, wholesalers, and strategic partners. Manage commercial relationships and negotiations with distributors, wholesalers, and key customers. Support the definition and execution of pricing, discount, promotion, and portfolio strategies. Ensure the fulfillment of commercial agreements, sales targets, service commitments, and customer conditions. Monitor distributor performance, including sales, inventory rotation, market coverage, and business development opportunities. Analyze key commercial indicators such as sales, margin, coverage, penetration, and rotation to support timely decision-making. Identify improvement opportunities across zones, routes, customers, and commercial processes. Prepare management reports and strategic business updates for leadership teams. Lead, develop, and support the commercial team, strengthening capabilities and ensuring alignment with business objectives. Promote strong cross‑functional collaboration with internal areas to ensure service continuity, operational alignment, and customer satisfaction. About you Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Chemical Engineering, Food Engineering, or related fields. Postgraduate degree or specialization is preferred. More than 3 years of experience leading sales in the traditional trade channel, preferably in the food industry. Experience in multinational companies is desirable. Knowledge of market penetration strategies, market expansion, forecast, and budget management. Experience managing distributors, wholesalers, commercial partners, and sales teams. Strong ability to analyze commercial indicators and translate insights into action plans. Intermediate English level is preferred; B2+ is desirable. Availability to travel and flexibility according to business needs. Strong negotiation, strategic thinking, decision‑making, leadership, communication, and results‑oriented skills. Collaborative working style, adaptability, emotional intelligence, and conflict‑resolution skills.
