Test Automation Engineer Notes This role requires at least one year of hands‑on experience in frontend test automation using JavaScript or TypeScript and modern testing frameworks such as Mocha, Playwright, Cypress, Nightwatch.js, or WebdriverIO. You Will Develop and maintain automated regression tests for new and existing functionality Report to a QA Manager while working day to day as an embedded member of a Scrum team Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities within your Scrum team Contribute to internally built test automation frameworks and utilities Identify, log, and clearly document defects found in the product Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and other QA engineers to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle You Have A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or equivalent professional experience Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and common design patterns Experience in software development and or quality assurance automation Solid experience developing and testing RESTful APIs Hands‑on experience with JavaScript; exposure to React is a plus Experience building API tests using frameworks such as Mocha is a plus Experience building UI automation using Playwright or similar frameworks is a plus Exposure to writing functional, integration, component, contract, and end‑to‑end tests Strong written and verbal communication skillsExperience working in an Agile development environment Ability to analyze requirements and translate them into effective test coverage #J-18808-Ljbffr
