Ensure Compliance & Controls: Own Group accounting policies under international standards (UK GAAP / FRS / IFRS) and design, implement, and test the internal control environment for external audit readiness. Strategic Financial Control: Partner on the Group budgeting process, drive periodic re-forecasting, and rigorously monitor and report on bank covenants. Technical Subject Matter Expert: Provide advanced technical accounting guidance, specifically structuring Hedge Accounting treatments for currency and financial exposures. To successfully excel in this position, it is crucial that you meet the following criteria: What should you have beforehand? International Professional Qualification: Must hold a recognized accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA, or country equivalent). Solid Technical Expertise: Deep, hands‑on experience with international Group Accounts and applicable accounting standards (FRS / IFRS). Absolute Bilingualism: Full professional fluency in both English and Spanish (mandatory for seamless communication between regional and international teams).
