Job Summary As part of the customer account team, a Junior Solution Architect at RedHat is a technical person who collaborates with customers and helps them to be successful by using RedHat products and services. The role is to understand customers’ challenges and requirements and to address them with RedHat technologies and solutions. What you will do Participate in the FASTER Program, a 12‑month onboarding and development program designed to provide deep technical knowledge, customer engagement skills, and industry insights. Gain hands‑on experience with RedHat's portfolio and contribute to real‑world customer solutions from day one. Learn all about RedHat and how we support our customers to address technical and strategic business challenges with our portfolio and services. Build a strong support network of peers, a manager, mentor and other RedHatters. Develop technical skills in the RedHat portfolio that span Cloud, Automation and AI solutions through training programs and earned certifications. Apply technical skills in meaningful customer interactions, job shadowing, workshops, pilot projects and presentations. Enhance professional capabilities through direct customer engagement and skill‑development opportunities. Gain an understanding of the processes and tools associated with enterprise‑level solution architecture. Support the Sales organization’s goals to deliver customer business value, advance opportunities, educate customers and increase pipeline and revenue. What you will bring Passion and curiosity for open source technology and a desire to build a career within the tech industry. Strong technical skills in computer science, IT, AI, or related fields gained through education, up‑skilling bootcamps, military experience, etc. Demonstrated experience applying technical, analytical and problem‑solving skills to an enterprise‑IT project. Motivation to engage in self‑directed learning of new technologies. Direct experience with any RedHat product (Enterprise Linux, OpenShift, Ansible Automation Platform, AI platform or related technologies) is preferred. Customer‑focused mindset with an understanding of customer needs and how to help them succeed. Willingness to travel to customer sites as required and to work both in‑person from a RedHat office and remotely. Effective written, verbal and presentation communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with internal teams and external customers. Some exposure to scripting languages such as Python, Bash or programming languages like Java, Go is a plus. Full professional proficiency in written and spoken English.
