About The Role The Onboarding Analyst ensures a smooth and compliant onboarding process for merchants, vendors, and partners by verifying customer information, assessing risks, and maintaining accurate documentation in line with KYC, AML, and CTF regulations. Responsibilities Support the end-to-end onboarding process for new clients, vendors, and partners by collecting and verifying KYB/KYC documentation in accordance with internal procedures and PSP compliance requirements. Assist in reviewing corporate structures and identifying key company information, including Ultimate Beneficial Owners (UBOs), ensuring consistency and completeness of documentation. Conduct screenings against sanctions lists, PEPs, and adverse media using internal tools, escalating potential alerts according to established procedures. Review standard legal, financial, and operational documentation, verifying its validity and accuracy. Collaborate with commercial and operational teams to support clients in completing KYB/KYC forms and providing required documentation. Maintain client records updated, organized, and properly stored in internal systems, ensuring confidentiality of information. Follow up with active clients to identify relevant changes in their corporate structure, business activity, or documentation requiring updates. Support compliance and risk teams with operational tasks, process improvements, and updates to onboarding-related documentation. Qualifications Recent graduate or bachelor’s degree holder in Finance, Business Administration, Law, or a related field. Experience in KYC, onboarding, or compliance roles within PSPs, FinTech, or financial services is a plus. Familiarity with KYC/AML tools and onboarding workflows is a plus. Knowledge of regulatory frameworks in Latin America is a plus. Knowledge of KYC/AML principles, risk assessment methodologies, and ownership structure verification is a plus. Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle complex datasets. Clear, structured, and customer-oriented communication style. Ability to work effectively in cross-functional, hybrid, and multicultural teams. Demonstrates accountability, initiative, and commitment in all onboarding tasks. English will be considered a plus.
