What You’ll Do Design and implement Apache Iceberg table formats to provide ACID transactions on large‑scale data lakes. Enable and manage schema and partition evolution to ensure data structures can adapt to changing business requirements without downtime. Optimize multi‑engine access, ensuring seamless data processing across Spark, Trino, and other query engines. Develop and maintain efficient data ingestion and compaction processes to ensure high query performance and storage efficiency. Collaborate with data teams to define storage standards and metadata management strategies for distributed data environments. What We Are Looking For 4+ years of experience in Software Engineering or Data Engineering. Proven expertise in implementing Apache Iceberg for open table formats on data lakes. Proficiency in managing schema and partition evolution within distributed environments. Hands‑on experience with data processing engines such as Spark and Trino. Advanced proficiency in English.
